According to data released by the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Statistics, in the first three quarters, the total import and export volume of goods in the city was 3.94 trillion yuan, an increase of 17.9% over the previous year. Among them, exports of goods amounted to 1.81 trillion yuan, an increase of 22.3%; imports of goods amounted to 2.13 trillion yuan, an increase of 14.4%. The export value of high-tech products increased by 33.0% year on year, accounting for 28.7% of the export value of goods.
