Recently, the Chongqing Municipal Committee and Municipal Government attached great importance to the hidden problems reported during unannounced visits by the Central Work Safety Assessment and Inspection Team in the second quarter and insisted on traceability, border inspection and reform, and implemented reforms to promote the continued stability and improvement of the city's safety situation through reform and promotion. Up to now, in response to the 361 hidden problems reported by the assessment and inspection team, Chongqing has completed 358 on-site rectification projects. Of these, all 26 major hidden accident hazards have completed on-site rectification, and the investigation of hidden major accident hazards has been fully completed. According to the working model of “municipal coordination, industry leadership, district and county cooperation”, Chongqing set up a special investigation team to carry out investigations in strict accordance with the requirements of “double investigation in one case”, “double punishment in one case” and “three shared responsibility” to form a major accident hazard analysis report. A total of 38 enterprises were administratively punished, with fines of 1.906 million yuan, 51 people responsible for the enterprises involved in the case and 769,000 yuan in fines; it is proposed to prosecute and hold 94 public officials to account.
