04:35 AM EDT, 10/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Carlsberg's (CARL-A.CO, CARL-B.CO) Indian unit could kick off its initial public offering as early as December, potentially raising up to $700 million, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter. The unnamed sources said the Danish brewer's Carlsberg India unit is preparing to publicly file documents for the offering following a confidential filing in July. The IPO will reportedly involve the sale of Carlsberg's existing shares in the business, with the final terms of the offering yet to be determined. The company tapped Kotak Mahindra Capital Co and the Indian units of JPMorgan Chase & Co and Citigroup to assist with preparations for the offering, the report said. Carlsberg did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires. (Market Chatter news is derived from conversations with market professionals globally.
