Lan Foan explained the trend of China's economy continuing to improve, and emphasized that China will unswervingly promote high-quality development, accelerate the cultivation of new momentum for growth, focus on expanding domestic demand, continue to expand a high level of opening-up to the outside world, and provide new opportunities for the development of the Asia-Pacific region and the world with new achievements in Chinese-style modernization. Prior to the conference, a closed-door meeting of finance ministers and a working luncheon with representatives of the Asia-Pacific business community were also held.
