Due to the combined effects of cold air going out to sea and typhoon Rose, in the next few days, most of China's southeast coast will be covered by large to huge waves. The National Oceanic Forecast Office issued a yellow wave warning. There will be 5 to 8 meter high waves in the southern part of the East China Sea, the waters off the Diaoyu Islands, and the ocean east of Taiwan; big waves of 4 to 6 meters in the Taiwan Strait, the northeastern part of the South China Sea, and the Bass Strait will reach wild waves; and large waves of 3.5 to 4.4 meters will occur in the coastal waters of northern Fujian. In particular, in the Dadao Julang region along the coast of Zhejiang, Fujian, and Guangdong, it is expected that it will gradually weaken until the weekend. Ships operating at sea are reminded to avoid the waves in advance and pay close attention to subsequent changes in sea conditions.
