The Zhitong Finance App learned that in September 2026, data from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology showed that in September 2026, the domestic market shipped 21.856 million units, down 21.7% year on year. Among them, 19.234 million 5G phones were sold, down 20.2% year on year, accounting for 88.0% of mobile phone shipments during the same period. From January to September 2026, the domestic market shipped 189 million mobile phones, down 14.1% year on year. Among them, 171 million 5G phones were sold, down 8.7% year on year, accounting for 90.6% of mobile phone shipments during the same period.
