Jefferies: MiniMax-W (00100) M3.1 Flash Model Expected to Redefine AI Agent Capabilities and Cost Efficiency

The Zhitong Finance App learned that Jefferies released a research report stating that it will maintain the MiniMax-W (00100) “buy” rating and target price of HK$533. The bank pointed out that MiniMax recently officially released the M3.1 Flash model, which has significantly improved its capabilities in various fields such as Agentic tasks, programming, computer usage, and network security, and is highly cost-effective. The M3.1 Flash model inference speed is increased by about 3 times, and the cost is reduced by 70%. It is expected to redefine the capabilities and cost efficiency of AI agents.

Jefferies pointed out that MiniMax emphasizes the balance between cost efficiency and performance in the Flash version, while the Pro version to be launched later focuses on smart limits. The forecast is that the sparse attention architecture will lead to better reasoning efficiency.
