Saudi Business Operating Revenue Rises 3% in August

02:21 AM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Saudi Arabia's operating revenue index climbed 3% year over year in August, after a 4.9% rise the previous month, according to preliminary data released Tuesday by the General Authority for Statistics. The performance was driven by increases in financial and insurance activities, information and communication activities, and construction activities. On a monthly basis, the short-term business indicators statistics showed that operating revenue fell 1.1%, compared with the 1.2% jump earlier.
