MaaT Pharma Gets Positive Feedback from US FDA to Develop MaaT034 Microbiome Therapy for Solid Tumors

12:25 AM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- MaaT Pharma (MAAT.PA) received positive feedback from the US Food and Drug Administration on the development of its MaaT034 microbiome therapy for solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer, melanoma, and renal cell carcinoma. The regulator indicated that the biotechnology company's proposed science- and risk-based development strategy was appropriate and that no additional nonclinical safety studies were required, according to a Monday release. MaaT Pharma plans further discussions with the FDA on its clinical development strategy and could launch a first-in-human study in late 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and funding.
