ATLANTA, Oct. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Piedmont Orthopedics | OrthoAtlanta is pleased to welcome Kyle D. Hardacker, M.D., a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in spine and trauma surgery, to its Gwinnett location. Dr. Hardacker provides comprehensive care for adult and pediatric spinal conditions, as well as complex orthopaedic trauma and fractures.
Dr. Hardacker treats a broad range of spinal conditions, including degenerative spine disease, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, spondylolisthesis, scoliosis, kyphosis, fractures, tumors and other complex spinal disorders. His surgical expertise includes minimally invasive spine procedures, cervical and lumbar decompression and fusion, cervical and lumbar disc replacement, complex spinal reconstruction, adult and pediatric deformity correction, tubular discectomy, motion-preserving procedures and image-guided stereotactic navigation.

Dr. Hardacker completed a fellowship in spine surgery at Norton Leatherman Spine in 2026, following an adult and pediatric orthopaedic trauma fellowship at Brown University in 2025 and an orthopaedic surgery residency at Brown University's Warren Alpert Medical School in 2024. He earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2019 and his bachelor's degree in molecular biology from Kenyon College in 2015.
Throughout his training, Dr. Hardacker has been involved in research focused on spine and orthopaedic trauma, with publications in the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and Spine Journal, as well as presentations for the Scoliosis Research Society. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the North American Spine Society and is board eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Hardacker enjoys spending time outdoors, including hiking and fishing. A former three-sport athlete in baseball, basketball and football, he also played collegiate baseball.
