Starting on the 19th, Japan and the United States will hold large-scale joint military exercises codenamed “Sword 27” in many parts of Japan. The “Type 25 surface-to-ship missile” will participate in this exercise. This is also the first time that the missile has participated in large-scale military exercises since it was officially deployed in March this year. Analysts pointed out that this exercise will increase regional tension and jeopardize peace and stability in Asia.
