Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, said the US Treasury had requested the fund's assistance in facilitating a diesel agreement between Washington and Moscow, including dealing with “payment matters and pure tactical issues” related to the agreement. Dmitriev said at the “Russian Energy Week” forum in Moscow that the Russian Direct Investment Fund will “ensure that all payments are carried out effectively and reach the intended recipients accordingly.”
