Recently, the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment and the Transportation Administration Bureau of the Shenzhen Public Security Bureau jointly issued the “Notice Concerning the Implementation of Measures Prohibiting Motor Vehicle Horns Across the City”. According to the notice, starting November 1, motor vehicles will be prohibited from honking their horns every day from 0:00 to 24:00 and is valid for 5 years. Anyone driving a motor vehicle in an area or section of road where honking is prohibited shall be fined 300 yuan in accordance with relevant regulations; if this act is committed three or more times within a year, a fine of 500 yuan each time starting from the third time.
