During the “15th Five-Year Plan” period, China coordinated the stock and increase of grain storage facilities, optimized the layout, improved functionality, and steadily increased the size of high-standard granaries. Currently, China's standard grain warehouses have an intact storage capacity of 730 million tons, low and quasi-low temperature grain storage capacity of more than 250 million tons, temperature-controlled grain storage capacity of 67 million tons, and a large number of modern smart warehouses have been put into use.
