China Southern Airlines (600029.SH): Passenger turnover increased 3.26% year on year in September

Zhitong Finance App News, China Southern Airlines (600029.SH) announced that in September 2026, the Group's passenger capacity investment (in terms of usable seat kilometers) increased 3.80% year on year, with domestic, regional and international increases of 2.03%, 14.26% and 8.37% year on year respectively; passenger turnover (in terms of passenger kilometers revenue) increased 3.26% year on year, and within China, regions and the world, respectively, increased 1.35%, 17.49% and 8.25% year on year; passenger occupancy rate was 85.85%, down 0.45 percentage points year on year, with domestic and international increases of 0.45 percentage points year on year. The year-on-year decline was 0.58 and 0.09 percentage points, respectively, and the region increased 2.23 percentage points year over year.

In terms of freight, in September 2026, freight capacity investment (in terms of usable tons of kilometers - freight and mail traffic) increased by 3.13% year on year; cargo and mail turnover (in terms of tons of revenue - cargo and mail traffic) increased 5.99% year on year; and cargo and mail carrying rate was 54.64%, up 1.47 percentage points year on year.
