Three ministries and commissions of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, and the National Development and Reform Commission recently agreed in principle to launch a pilot urban agglomeration for comprehensive hydrogen energy applications between Northeast China and Yangtze River Delta. The pilot period is 4 years. The urban agglomeration is led by Shanghai and unites the 7 provinces of Mongolia, Liao, Ji, Hei, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui, with a total of 14 cities to form a “bipolar drive, one belt connected” cross-regional connectivity pattern.
