UK's Monthly Manufacturing Output Up 1.2% in August

02:25 AM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The UK's monthly manufacturing production rose 1.2% in August, following a revised 1% gain in the prior month, the Office for National Statistics said Thursday. Analysts expected a 0.1% fall for the month. On a yearly basis, British manufacturing output grew 3%, compared with the revised 2.2% climb earlier and the consensus estimate of a 2.3% gain.
