The Zhitong Finance App learned that PV stocks continued their recent decline. As of press release, Junda shares (02865) fell 5.98% to HK$9.825; Xinte Energy (01799) fell 5.21% to HK$3.365; Follett Glass (06865) fell 4.22% to HK$5.11; and Xinyi Solar (00968) fell 2.65% to HK$1.835.

According to the news, on October 11, leading domestic photovoltaic companies such as Tongwei and GCL held a closed-door meeting in Hangzhou to further promote anti-domestic industry initiatives. The conference further formed an implementation plan for production capacity restrictions, proposed the adoption of market-based adjustment mechanisms to push enterprises to independently coordinate and actively suppress their own production capacity according to total market demand, and set a clear price bottom line for silicon materials and components.

Dongwu Securities believes that the photovoltaic industry is currently at the bottom of the cycle, demand is weak, and the profit inflection point is unclear, but the supply-side reform logic is being strengthened, and leading production cuts will help clear backward production capacity. Technology iterations and emerging application scenarios have become important increases. BC module delivery prices are strong, and new directions such as space photovoltaics may provide additional growth impetus.
