Changes in Hong Kong stocks | Laikai Pharmaceutical-B (02105) rose more than 5% and completed LAE102's 24-week single-drug treatment study low-dose group treatment

The Zhitong Finance App learned that Laikai Pharmaceutical-B (02105) rose by more than 5%. As of press release, it had risen 4.46% to HK$6.795, with a turnover of HK$2.356,600.

According to the news, on October 13, Laikai Pharmaceutical-B issued an announcement that the Group has completed the LAE102 24-week single-drug treatment study for the low dose group treatment. This data is consistent with LAE102's previous single dose escalation (SAD) and multiple dose escalation (MAD) studies, showing positive changes in body composition. Of particular note, the completed low dose group showed encouraging weight loss results, with muscle gain and fat loss observed. The 24-week treatment was well tolerated. No serious adverse events were reported, and no reports of diarrhea, muscle cramps, or acne were reported, which is consistent with the SAD and MAD findings previously disclosed.

A high-concentration LAE102 formulation has recently been prepared, and the Group has completed the enrollment of subjects in the high-dose group to further evaluate the efficacy and safety of LAE102 at high dosage levels during the 24-week treatment period. Currently, the Group is actively seeking partners with global capabilities to accelerate the global development and commercialization process of LAE102.
