We learned from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Market Supervision Bureau that recently, with approval from the State Intellectual Property Office, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Intellectual Property Protection Center officially launched a patent pre-examination service for the new energy industry in October, completed the pilot reform tasks of the Inner Mongolia Pilot Free Trade Zone ahead of schedule, and enabled innovation and upgrading of the new energy industry by improving the regional intellectual property support service system. As approved by the State Intellectual Property Office, Inner Mongolia added 68 international patent classification main classification subcategories and 11 Locarno classification subcategories for the new energy industry. So far, the pre-examination service of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Intellectual Property Protection Center has covered the three strategic emerging industries of biology, new materials, and new energy, and service coverage and industrial adaptability have improved markedly.
