The company has exceeded Wall Street’s EPS estimates in three of its last four quarters, while missing on one occasion.

For fiscal 2026, analysts project the company’s EPS to be $23.32, up 82.3% from $12.79 in fiscal 2025. Moreover, its EPS is expected to rise by roughly 30.5% year over year (YoY) to $30.43 in fiscal 2027.

On Sept. 1, MPWR stock declined 3.3% after crude oil prices surged, accompanied by a jump in benchmark Treasury yields. The rising prices brought up concerns over inflation and prolonged corporate borrowing costs. Following several U.S. military strikes in Iran, and news of new strikes also being on the horizon, the 10-year Treasury yield climbed to about 4.79%, marking a 20-month high. Geopolitical tension leading to higher energy and logistics costs ultimately led to concern over tightening margins across global chip supply chains.

Analysts are also highly optimistic about MPWR, with the stock having a “Strong Buy” rating overall. Among the 14 analysts covering the stock, 10 recommend a “Strong Buy,” two recommend a “Moderate Buy,” and two recommend a “Hold.” MPWR’s average analyst price target of $1,822.25 offers a 38.1% upside potential.
