China Construction Machinery Industry Association: Sales of 22,717 excavators of various types increased 14.4% year-on-year in September

The Zhitong Finance App learned that according to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on major excavator manufacturers, 2,717 excavators of various types were sold in September 2026, an increase of 14.4% over the previous year. Among them: domestic sales volume was 9911 units (including 218 electric excavators), up 7.16% year on year; 12,806 units were exported (including 65 electric excavators), up 20.7% year on year.

From January to September 2026, a total of 214,274 excavators were sold, an increase of 23.1% over the previous year. Among them: domestic sales volume of 10,4530 units (including 629 electric excavators), up 16.3% year on year; exports of 10,9744 units (including 322 electric excavators), up 30.4% year on year.

According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on major loader manufacturers, 12,419 loaders of various types were sold in September 2026, an increase of 17.9% over the previous year. Among them: domestic sales volume was 5,773 units (including 3,385 electric loaders), up 14.3% year on year; exports of 6,646 units (including 654 electric loaders), up 21.3% year on year.

From January to September 2026, a total of 11,7077 loaders of various types were sold, an increase of 24.9% over the previous year. Among them: domestic sales volume was 58,360 units (including 33,865 electric loaders), up 16.7% year on year; exports were 58,717 units (including 3,229 electric loaders), up 34.2% year on year.
