The agency pointed out that compared to the quarterly financial performance of the space business, investors should pay more attention to whether Starship's key technology nodes can continue to be realized. The 14th flight entered orbit for the first time, and the first revenue-generating mission was completed by deploying 26 next-generation Starlink V3 satellites; during the test, a vacuum raptor engine shut down early, but the spacecraft completed the scheduled flight trajectory by extending the working time of the remaining 5 engines, and successfully executed the first off-orbit ignition. The super-heavy booster also simulated the soft splash of a “chopstick gripping” trajectory. Citi expects SpaceX to carry out at least one 15th flight before the end of the year, and may try to capture the upper stage of a starship using a launch tower robotic arm for the first time. It believes this is a key step in achieving rapid and complete reuse of the entire delivery system.
