At noon today local time, the Houthis in Yemen issued a statement saying that if Saudi Arabia continues to take military action against the Houthis, the Houthis will respond based on the principle of reciprocity. The statement said that since the attack on Yemen's Sana'a International Airport on July 13 this year, dozens of people have died, hundreds have been injured, and infrastructure has been damaged in Yemen. The statement accuses Saudi Arabia of ignoring calls to lift the blockade and stop attacking Sana'a International Airport for a long time, and warned that continuing hostile action against the Houthis would cause strategic losses to Saudi Arabia. The statement concluded by warning that if Saudi Arabia does not stop its military intervention against the Houthis, the situation may escalate further.
