US PRESIDENT TRUMP: I just finished a very successful meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The two sides agreed that Russia will immediately supply more than 300,000 tons of diesel to the US and global markets, another 500,000 tons in November, and an additional 1 million tons immediately thereafter. Furthermore, according to the actual situation of Russian diesel refineries, Russia will also supply 3 million tons of diesel in the short term. With our complete control over the Strait of Hormuz and this major announcement about Russian energy, diesel prices in the US and around the world will drop rapidly by a record amount! Reducing the cost of living for Americans, especially for our great farmers, ranchers, and truck drivers, is my top priority. This is a very big and important announcement. Furthermore, it must be made clear: Iran must not possess nuclear weapons!
