02:58 AM EDT, 10/09/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AlphaValue/Baader Europe boosted its EPS projections for Kering (KER.PA), citing turnaround momentum at Gucci amid luxury market headwinds. "Following the encouraging H1 26 results, we have adopted a more constructive near-term earnings trajectory, mainly driven by Fashion & Leather Goods and Gucci," analysts said Thursday. "Gucci's sequential improvement in both revenue and profitability reinforces our confidence in the turnaround. While Q3 should benefit less from new launches than Q2, we still expect the brand to maintain positive momentum through H2. For Jewellery, we assume a more moderate growth profile in H2 versus H1, mainly reflecting tougher comparables, particularly in the US." The research firm expects the luxury goods giant to see further gains from its turnaround strategy in Gucci and its other major houses, while noting that "more supportive" third-quarter currency trends offer a minor tailwind to earnings. Kering is due to release its third-quarter revenue report on Oct. 22. Against this backdrop, analysts raised their full-year 2026 and 2027 EPS estimates to 6.96 euros and 9.02 euros, respectively, from 6.52 euros and 8.45 euros. AlphaValue/Baader Europe rates the stock at buy, with a price target of 269 euros.
