According to the news, Goldman Sachs recently pointed out that it raised Yum China's 12-month target price from HK$459 to HK$467, maintained a “buy” rating (confidence list), and slightly raised the company's 2026-2028 net profit forecast by about 1% to 2%. Yum China is expected to announce its results for the third quarter of 2026 in early November. Sales, restaurant profit and operating profit for the period increased by 9.3%, 9.2%, and 10.4% year-on-year respectively, and by 3.4%, 3.3% and 4.5%, respectively, at fixed exchange rates.

Yum China's total revenue for the second quarter increased 13% year over year to 3.1 billion US dollars; operating profit increased 14% year over year to 348 million US dollars; and net profit increased 14% year over year to 244 million US dollars. In August of this year, the company announced that it had completed a $1.2 billion donation to Yum! A transaction for Brands to acquire ownership of the Pizza Hut brand in mainland China.
