Anthropic launches the “Anthropic Cybersecurity Mission,” a long-term commitment to use its tools, research capabilities, and resources to help defenders protect critical infrastructure and open source software. In terms of critical infrastructure protection, the “Critical Infrastructure Defense Plan” was launched to provide cutting-edge models, on-site engineers, and threat research capabilities to defenders protecting the operating technology behind power grids, water systems, transportation networks, and government systems. In terms of open source software, OSS Scanner was launched to provide open source projects with regular security scans performed by Anthropic's strongest model for free. CIDP's founding partners include Accenture, Boss Allen, CrowdStrike, Deloitte, Dragos, Hitachi, Insane Cyber, Nozomi Networks, Palo Alto Networks, PwC, and Rockwell Automation. Over the next few months, CIDP will expand to more partners and more industries.
