Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Education and the General Office of the Ministry of Finance jointly issued a “Notice” to deploy and implement the 2026 “Three Regions” Talent Support Program teacher special plan, promote a balanced allocation of high-quality teachers, and build a team of high-level teachers. The “Notice” makes it clear that the “Three Districts” Talent Support Program teacher special program for the 2026-2027 school year is mainly implemented for poverty-alleviation regions, focusing on regions such as key support counties, ethnic counties, old revolutionary districts and counties, and border counties for the country's rural revitalization. The country's 25 project provinces plan to select 11,356 teachers, including 5,151 for middle schools, 6060 for elementary schools, and 145 for kindergartens. All regions are required to comprehensively study regional trends in the school-age population, optimize quota allocations within provinces, increase recruitment efforts across counties and cities, fully mobilize high-quality resources, and strengthen support for key regions.
