According to reports, US officials said that a few days ago, the Pentagon instructed the US Central Command to complete preparations in order to restart large-scale combat operations in Iran. The order did not set a specific date for the launch of the crackdown, and President Trump has yet to make a final decision. However, according to US and Israeli sources, the crackdown may be carried out before the US midterm elections, or even before the Israeli general election.
