Betta Pharmaceuticals (300558.SZ): BPI-572270 capsules were approved for clinical trials of new drugs by the US FDA

Recently, the BPI-572270 capsule clinical trial application declared by Hangzhou Jingyao Biotechnology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, was approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (“US FDA”). This drug is intended for advanced solid tumors.

According to reports, preclinical studies have shown that BPI-572270 has a strong inhibitory effect on many types of tumor cells carrying different RAS (including KRAS, NRAS, HRAS) mutations (including RAS G12X, G13X, Q61X, etc.), including pancreatic cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, colorectal cancer, etc., and also has good pharmacokinetic properties and safety. BPI-572270 is expected to treat multiple RAS mutant cancers with a single drug, or to achieve more comprehensive disease control through combination medication.
