More than a week ago, Madison Wong, the daughter of Nvidia's rising star and CEO Wong In-hoon, had a wedding in Hawaii. Her husband, Nico Capretz, is a former professional skier, and Madison introduced him to Nvidia two and a half years ago. Madison and Capretz, who are also 35, have formed a strong pair. Some employees believe that with 63-year-old CEO Hwang In-hoon at the helm, the two may become the backbone of Nvidia's future leadership. An Nvidia employee who works with Capretz said, “I think Hwang In-hoon is paving the way for Madison and Nico to take over the next phase of their work.” Another employee said that Nvidia's current operating model is far more like a family business than what the outside world thinks, which is rare in the tech industry.
