01:19 AM EDT, 10/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- RBC Capital Markets expects "stronger" production from Glencore (GLEN.L, GLN.JO) in the second half without "significant operational disruptions." "Glencore has front run some of the Q3 excitement by upgrading its marketing guidance for 2026 already but we still believe that consensus is currently too low and expecting similar language to Q3'2022 before a record result was delivered," according to a Tuesday third-quarter preview note focused on European miners. The research firm views the full-year 2026 marketing adjusted EBIT outlook of over $5 billion as "conservative" under current market conditions. Analysts raised their estimate to $5.7 billion from $5.4 billion, while noting that the consensus forecast sits at $5.2 billion. Ahead of Glencore's third-quarter production report due Oct. 29, RBC rates the stock at outperform, with a price target of 6.60 pounds sterling.
