12:15 AM EDT, 10/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Icop (ICOP.MI) filed a complaint with Italian market regulator CONSOB over Webuild's (WBD.MI) communications about the rival offer for engineering company Trevi - Finanziaria Industriale (TFIN.MI). The Italian engineering company said Tuesday that Webuild's press releases and advertising campaigns on Oct. 2 and 3 sought to discredit its voluntary exchange offer. Icop said Webuild is portraying its 4.50-euro cash offer as more attractive by using an alleged "real value" for Icop's offer of 3.40 euros per Trevi share. ICOP said its OPS implies a value of 5.165 euros per Trevi share and noted that Webuild later purchased Trevi shares at the same price.
