According to traders familiar with the deal, India's state-owned oil company IOC purchased about 3 million barrels of Middle Eastern and West African crude oil, which will arrive in Hong Kong from November 9 to 18. The IOC purchased 1 million barrels of Murban crude oil, Basra intermediate crude oil, and Nemba crude oil, respectively. The sellers were Torque Group, Moqueray, and Chevron. The goods were traded at CIF, up to a maximum of about $18 per barrel above the current Brent benchmark. The refinery issued a CR-41 tender at the beginning of this week, mainly seeking sulfur-containing crude oil to be delivered in November.
