In the first eight months of 2026, the employee basic medical insurance co-ordinated fund spent 889.349 billion yuan, of which the maternity insurance fund spent 88.929 billion yuan; the basic medical insurance co-ordinated fund for urban and rural residents spent 661.65 billion yuan.
