According to the news, Google (Google) announced on October 6, local time, that it has reached a long-term strategic energy cooperation with the US energy company Constellation with a total scale of 3.59 GW. It is divided into two parts: 890 MW is the new nuclear power capacity, which is expected to be launched from 2028 to 2032 and will last 20 years; 2.7 GW is any capacity, which will last 15 years. With funding from Google, Constellation will upgrade 11 of its multi-state nuclear power plants and create about 7,200 construction jobs during construction.

As part of a commercial package, Constellation has also formed a five-year extended technology alliance with Google Cloud and Gemini Enterprise to establish a blueprint for “artificial intelligence for energy” to accelerate capacity delivery, optimize asset scheduling, and protect critical infrastructure.
