An Iranian lawmaker said on Tuesday that Iranian officials should have emphasized “retaliation against Trump” during their visit to New York, rather than stating that Iran has no intention of retaliating against the US president. Gassim Rawanbakhsh also said that two quick-reviewed proposals to withdraw from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons have been submitted to Parliament, and one of the new laws has been given the highest urgent priority. He said that the decision on whether Iran develops nuclear weapons is in the hands of the country's top leadership and the Supreme National Security Council.
