The commencement ceremony for the Montenegro Budva City-Bypass Highway Project, which was constructed with the participation of Chinese enterprises, was held on the 5th in the coastal city of Budva, Montenegro. Montenegrin Prime Minister Spajic and Chinese Ambassador to Montenegro Chen Xufeng attended the ceremony. According to the contract, the project was jointly implemented by an international consortium composed of 5 companies from Montenegro, China and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Chinese company Shandong Expressway Group is a member of the consortium. The project includes roads, bridges, tunnels, etc. The contract amount is about 237 million euros, and the construction period is expected to be 4 years.
