Final PMI: UK Private Sector Growth Slows in September

04:49 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Britain's private sector output growth eased to a three-month low in September, with both the services and manufacturing industries seeing softer rates of growth amid rising inflationary pressures. The seasonally adjusted S&P Global UK Composite PMI edged down to 52 in September from 52.5 in the previous month, according to final data published Monday. The flash estimate stood at 51.7. Meanwhile, the services PMI was 52.1, compared with the previous 52.5 and the preliminary reading of 51.7.
