Premier African Minerals Raises GBP1 Million Via Share Subscription

03:16 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Premier African Minerals (PREM.L) raised 1.2 million pounds sterling through a subscription of 27,522,935,780 shares, according to a Monday filing. The London-listed miner plans to use the proceeds for the potential remobilization of mining activities and restart of the processing plant at its Zulu lithium and tantalum project in Zimbabwe. The company is preparing to resume processing at Zulu using 13,000 tonnes of ore on the ROM pad for an initial 15-day campaign, during which it will assess throughput, recoveries, plant stability and product quality. The subscription shares are scheduled to begin trading on the London bourse on Friday.
