Deutsche Telekom to Boost AI-related Revenue, Savings Outside US

03:03 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom (DTE.F) expects to generate additional AI-related revenue and savings from its businesses outside the US, according to a Monday release. Through the development of a platform for small- and medium-sized businesses that will allow companies to automate recurring tasks, the company forecasts 250 million euros in AI-related revenue by 2026, and 800 million euros by 2030. It also intends to generate gross savings of 1.1 billion euros in 2027 outside the US through AI and automation, compared with 2023. The savings are expected to grow to 2.5 billion euros by 2030. Additional savings in 2027 will be partially reinvested in accelerating digital transformation and expanding the fiber-optic network in Germany.
