On October 4, local time, according to US sources, the US has withdrawn all B-1 bombers deployed at the Royal Air Force's Fairford base to the US. The US side made this decision out of security concerns over a suspected terrorist attack plot against the base. According to the news, the US previously used the Fairford base in northwest London as a hub to launch bombing operations against Iran. Prior to the recent evacuation, a total of 12 B-1 bombers were deployed at the base.
