Yemeni Houthi spokesman Yahya Sareya issued a video statement on October 4 saying that in the past 12 hours, Saudi Arabia has launched 50 air and missile attacks on the Yemeni capital Sana'a, as well as Al Jawf, Taiz, Amran, Hodeidah, and Sa'da provinces — since the current round of the situation escalated in early September, the total number of air and missile attacks launched by Saudi Arabia on Yemen has reached 1,460. Sareya said that in retaliation, the Houthis used missiles and drones on the same day to attack Saudi Aramco facilities in the Saudi capital Riyadh and the Khurais region, adding that the attack “successfully hit the target.” Sareya said that the Houthis will continue to use missiles and drones produced in Yemen to attack Saudi military bases and oil facilities until Saudi Arabia stops military operations and lifts the blockade on Yemen.
