According to Ningbo Customs, the world's first normalized China-Europe Arctic container route has operated 8 flights this year, transporting a total of 7,761 TEUs, mainly energy storage equipment, power batteries, new energy vehicles, etc., with a value of 5.33 billion yuan, covering more than 20 countries and regions, including the United Kingdom, Germany, and the Czech Republic. This route is seasonal and will resume operation next summer. As a landmark achievement of the joint construction of the “Ice Silk Road”, the route only takes 18-20 days to sail, which is about half the time shorter than the traditional Suez route. It also has the advantages of timeliness, cost, green and safety, and ensures a stable and smooth supply chain between China and Europe.
