The Zhitong Finance App learned that SK Hynix (SKHY.US) reiterated on Thursday that it has not made any decisions on the future financing needs of its US subsidiary Solidigm, despite media reports that the company may go through a dual listing.

“Potential financing options include internal funding or external capital, and any decision will be weighed against the investment requirements of HBM, server DRAM, and eSSD, as well as market conditions and broader capital allocation plans,” the company said in a statement.

SK Hynix added that before making any decisions, long-term corporate value and shareholder value will be the primary criteria, including potential equity dilution issues. The South Korean storage giant also said it will evaluate potential dilutions and protection for existing shareholders. The company made a similar statement last month.

Recently, media reports indicated that Solidigm may have a dual listing in the US and South Korea.

Last month, it was reported that SK Hynix is considering an initial public offering and that the valuation of the division will reach 150 billion US dollars. According to several people familiar with the matter, the department held meetings with several investment banks in late September.

Solidigm is SK Hynix's NAND flash memory and solid-state drive division. Part of its business stemmed from SK Hynix's acquisition of the Intel (INTC.US) NAND division in 2020.
