Soybeans Fading Post-USDA Report Gains on Spillover Pressure

Soybeans got a friendly stocks number on Wednesday, but bulls are fading the data, with fractional losses at midday. Sharp losses in corn are a spillover pressure factor. The cmdtyView national average Cash Bean price is down 1 1/2 cents at $12.42 1/4. Soymeal futures are down 20 to 40 cents higher, with Soy Oil up 12 to 25 points. 

USDA reported a private export sale of 105,000 MT of soybeans to unknown destinations this morning.

NASS quarterly Grain Stocks data from this morning showed 315 mbu of soybeans on and at the end of August, i.e. the end of the 2025/26 marketing year. That was 10 mbu tighter compared to last year and 6 mbu lower vs. trade estimates of 321 mbu.

ANEC estimates the Brazilian soybean exports in September at 7.24 MMT, which is a drop of 0.78 MMT from their previous number.
