According to Woofun AI, Kathy Wood continues to increase its 3iQ Solana Staking ETF through Ark Investments. This series of operations marks its strategic intention to use traditional financial instruments to deepen institutional exposure to the Solana ecosystem. The move is not an isolated event, but rather the latest extension of its long-term layout in the cryptocurrency sector, which aims to provide investors with a new path to the on-chain economy through the ETF architecture.

Judging from the pace of transactions, Ark Investment adopted a strategy of opening positions in batches to smooth entry costs. According to data compiled by Woofun AI, the company purchased 8,579 SOLQ shares for approximately $85,500 on September 28; previously, it completed purchases of 6,362 shares and 5,589 shares on September 25 and September 23, respectively. These transactions are all carried out on the Toronto Stock Exchange, and the corresponding codes are SOLQ and SOLQ.U, reflecting the cautious attitude of institutional capital gradually accumulating positions through multiple small transactions rather than a one-time large investment.

Launched in April 2025, the 3iQ Solana Staking ETF's core mechanism is to incorporate staking returns into investment strategies, enabling traditional market participants to participate in the Solana on-chain economy without directly managing SOL tokens or staking infrastructure. The fund's assets are stored in cold storage and can generate daily returns. Ark Investment previously held SOLQ through ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW.US) and ARK Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF.US). As of April 2025, its cumulative investment in this ETF has exceeded $10 million. This increase in holdings is an expansion of existing holdings.

Kathy Wood has been the first public fund manager to invest in Bitcoin through the ARKW ETF since 2015, showing her early insight into digital assets. Today, as Solana develops into one of the leading blockchain networks by market capitalization, covering decentralized finance, stablecoins, consumer applications and various on-chain activities, Ark Investment's continuous purchases have further enriched its strategic layout and revealed the evolving trend of traditional capital accelerating its entry into the crypto ecosystem through ETF channels.
