“Direct Drive+Rare Earth” join forces! Benmao Technology (06731) deepens cooperation with the “Rare Earth National Team” to change the traditional power industry

The Zhitong Finance App learned that on September 29, Benmao Technology (06731) issued an announcement stating that the company has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Rare Earth Group Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “China Rare Science and Technology Innovation”), and the two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in fields such as rare earth permanent magnet materials and robot power systems.

According to the agreement, the two sides will establish a normalized technical exchange mechanism, jointly carry out research and development of high-performance magnetic materials such as NdFeB, polymagnetic rings, and radiation magnetic rings, and develop high-performance magnetic products suitable for direct drive motors based on upstream rare earth resources and the technical requirements of motor application scenarios. At the same time, the two sides will focus on core requirements such as magnetic material performance optimization, motor miniaturization, and high torque output to promote the application of direct drive modules in scenarios such as physical robots and smart household devices.

In terms of the industrial chain, the two sides plan to open up a domestic industrial chain from new rare earth materials to robot power components, and explore industry-finance integration models such as equity investment and industrial funds to promote the implementation of advantageous projects for magnetic materials and direct drive motors, and at the same time promote joint training and technological iteration of professionals in related fields.

Analysts believe that the core focus of this cooperation is upstream and downstream collaboration in the industrial chain. Rare earth permanent magnet materials are important basic materials for high-performance motors, and direct drive motors are also important power components for robot joints to achieve high torque, weight reduction, and precise control. Through cooperation with Zhongxi Science and Innovation, Benmao Technology is expected to further strengthen upstream magnetic material research and supply chain collaboration, and extend material-side advantages to motor and robot power systems. If subsequent joint research and development results are industrialized, it is expected to further enhance the autonomous controllability of the company's core components of direct drive motors and provide support for the expansion of emerging application scenarios such as embedded intelligence and industrial robots.
