According to monitoring by the National Climate Center of the China Meteorological Administration, the sea temperature at the equator in the Middle East and Pacific has continued to warm since September. For the first time since monitoring records were recorded, the sea temperature index on a seasonal scale broke through 3℃ for the first time. It is expected that the sea temperature of the equator Middle East and Pacific will continue to fluctuate and rise in the future, and around November, the strongest super-strong El Niño event since monitoring records were recorded. Since the meteorological department made monitoring records, there have been three extreme El Niño events, which occurred from 1982 to 1983, 1997 to 1998, and 2014 to 2016, respectively. The current sea temperature monitoring index and its warming rate are significantly higher than the same period of the above three events.
